well-presented breakfast pleasant surprise comfortable bed
I found the continental breakfast well-presented. It was an unexpected bonus. The room upgrade to room 14 was a pleasant surprise. The bed was new and comfortable. The owner's grandson gave a warm welcome, and the owner.
The room had some limitations. The wardrobe measured 46cms wide.

A big car park is available , offering convenient on-site parking. The location is residential. It provides a quiet environment near attractions. The street even has its own pub that serves food.

The superior king room was quite huge with a large bed and coffee and tea facilities. There were chocolates on the pillows. The room featured a television powered from an extension socket. The bathroom door wouldn't open fully.

limited amenities dated bathroom
The breakfast selection lacked variety. The orange juice tasted watered down. My room faced the back. I saw a cluttered storage area. The advertised 'superior' status felt questionable given the view and limited amenities. The bathroom fittings seemed dated. The shower pressure fluctuated during use. It was like a generic experience, not justifying the price paid.

A charming stay!
decorated room helpful owner
I found the individually decorated room to be good. The decor gave it a unique character. the hotel location, directly opposite the top of Branksome Chine, provided easy access to the beach. I also appreciated that the owner was helpful.

strange smell burnt toast
the location was decent near some shops.
the room i stayed in, the superior king room, had a strange smell. the breakfast was a letdown. the toast was always burned and the fruit looked old. i asked for a discount but got nowhere.
